URUSARO IWFF is a women’s film festival operating in Rwanda. It celebrates, on a period basis, the place and contribution of a woman in cinema for the benefit of the society and the film industry in particular.

The theme of the 4th edition is “Woman: Pillar of cinema”, and the festival defines a woman as a firm upright support for cinema, that is also considered as a superstructure. By saying “woman”, it is automatically related to “man”, which shows the collaboration between both men and women to support that superstructure. From this perspective, the festival is calling for films submissions.
